this will teach you how to get to your windows msconfig in windows XP. the point of this is to change how your computer starts. what it loads on startup and what not to load.

*note:

DO NOT UNCHECK ANYTHING THAT THE DIRECTORY SAYS IT IS LOCATED IN YOUR SYSTEM FOLDER OR ANY DLL'S. NOTHING GOOD WILL COME FROM THIS.

STEP NUMBER 1:

click your start button located on the lower left corner of your screen.

STEP NUMBER 2:

click run. it is located in the second half of your start menu.

STEP NUMBER 3:

this is the window that will open after clicking run.

STEP NUMBER 4:

type msconfig.

STEP NUMBER 5:

after you have typed msconfig this is the window that will popup.

STEP NUMBER 6:

click on the startup button.
